To develop a big idea concept for the Harvestime in-store, digital and in-mall festive campaign, focusing on the full Harvestime range (all SKU’s), while utilizing Thembsie Matu (AKA Patronella) as the main communication driver that best resonates with the Harvestime target market.

Our Vibe

We conceptualised “Festive Feast, with Harvestime”, A digital and instore led campaign that encouraged shoppers to buy  and make their special festive meals or signature dishes with any of the Harvestime product range.
Instore we encourage shoppers to head to their nearest Shoprite store Nation wide, using the “Buy Any 2” strategy to increase sales and incentivize through a competition where they could win awesome prizes.
On digital consumers were encouraged to choose their favourite Harvestime festive recipe collection & tag a friend, increasing engagement and reach. We incentivized through a competition to win a festive family feast experience hosted by Thembsi Matu and prepared by Chef Dede.
To achieve a great VIBE, we created the campaign key visuals (for both instore & digital) that could be implemented across instore POS elements, festive food recipes and produced a digital 30 & 45 second adverts.  
And created a mini campaign asset bank consisting of still images & short clip videos that showcased the product (s) in various scenarios.

The Results

Total Competition Entries – 16361 consumers
Digital Performance:
Reach= 3,35 Million
Engagement Rate =  3,54% (CPM: R 9, 66)
Video Views = 37 800 Views

Shopper Performance:
