In the springtime / summertime of 2021 the Harvestime brand wanted to launch their New frozen Slap-Chips product range and create a campaign that would resonate with South Africans & their love for slap chips through a digital, instore & OOH led campaign.

Our Vibe

We conceptualised “Harvestime, Anyday Is A Fryday”, A digital and instore led campaign that encouraged consumers to make their very own favourite takeaways at home with the NEW Harvestime Slap Chips product range.
Instore we encourage shoppers to head to their nearest Shoprite store Nation wide, enter the competition via our USSD mechanic ensuring sales.
On digital consumers were encouraged to try out the NEW Harvestime Slap Chips at home for themselves.
Share their favourite slap chips recipes with brand on its social media platforms to increase engagement.
To achieve a great VIBE, we created the campaign key visuals (for both instore & digital) that could be implemented across instore POS elements, food recipes and produced a digital-OOH advert that helped create awareness and further drive the promotion with our key shopper communities.
The advert was flighted across key national taxi ranks in Johannesburg, KwaZulu Natal and the Limpopo. Province.

The Results

Digital Performance:
Reach– 4,7 Million (exceeded targets by 1,4 Million)
Engagement Rate -  3% (exceeded targets by 2%)
Total Engagement – 147 000 (exceeded targets by 114 000)
Shopper Performance:
POS in 100 stores
SMS to database of 200 000 consumers
Sales Uplift 9,5 tons
